Born between 1888 and 1920, the Legal pad's original specification was 8.5" x 11.75". It derived its name primarily from its widespread use in old court records.
The yellow paper is its most distinctive feature, designed to reduce eye strain from prolonged writing on white paper. The binding utilizes an easy-tear design, and a score line is added to the left quarter of each page to facilitate zoned note-taking. These complete functionalities are why the Legal pad remains a common item in our lives even after a century.

This carbonless copy notebook is the first small tool that TPL-Stationery set out to reimagine.
We've merged the traditional Legal pad with the concept of a copybook, enabling users to achieve more with less after quick note-taking, by sharing and conveying recorded information. We've also adjusted the size for a lighter, more portable feel.
