"Even things that once earned a zero or were not good at might shine in the future."
This book originated from a friend's 1993 collection of illustrations from when they were seven years old. Featuring a blue and white character with whimsical eyes and a red nose, it reflects a past fascination with the globally popular "Doraemon," blended with modern visual experiments in this engaging read.
While organizing bookshelves at home, a childhood picture book suddenly appeared, sparking the idea to publish a friend's "timeless masterpiece" from their youth. Through reordering and subtle visual page treatments, it explores the possibilities of a deep affection for printed matter that began at age seven. Simultaneously, five interesting creators were invited to share their childhood memories of receiving zero on tests.
This is not a dedicated book about the familiar "Doraemon," nor is it a collection of imitation illustrations. It is simply an unassuming childhood sketchbook and visual concept publication, produced in a small, independent print run to evoke viewers' appreciation for preserving and honoring their own childhood archives.
