It subtly supports your daily life and, through long-term use, grows into a unique piece that belongs only to you. ◆ What You Should Know ※ The V.D.L.C. fabric is woven using shuttle looms (not mass-production machines), emphasizing a rumpled, natural look that offers "lightness" and "softness," and allows you to enjoy 'aging' (経年変化) rather than "deterioration." Because we use shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, "weaving flaws" (織りキズ) will inevitably appear—these are blemishes that may look like "fraying" at first glance. While this is unavoidable when using old machinery, we continuously strive to minimize them, including thorough inspection at the factory, avoiding them as much as possible during fabric cutting, and using them only in inconspicuous areas if found. However, because this is a characteristic of the machine, we cannot eliminate all of them. We hope you will view these weaving flaws as a mark of being created by the old shuttle loom and as a unique character to enjoy as you use the bag.
