Cameras Kiev-10 Automat have been produced since 1965 to 1974 at Arsenal plant (the city of Kiev, Soviet Union). Kiev-10 was really breakdown to the world of modern SLR cameras, with modern metal shutter and bayonet lens mount, automatic exposition and manual mode, and good set of lenses (from extra wide angle 20 mm up to 135 mm telephoto). It became first SLR camera in the World with automatic exposure setting. Automatic system used the power from photocell, thus the camera did not require any extra power source. Since 1974 it was changed to more advanced Kiev-15-TEE, very common externally and with same basic features, include same bayonet lens mount. It received more advanced TEE (or TTL in modern terms) light metering system with more wide range of brightness, but it required batteries. A total of around 50,000 Kiev-10 cameras were produced at Arsenal plant in 1965 - 1974. ITEM'S CONDITION: NEW All My Instruction Manuals on English are just NEW booklets.
