【Workshop(s)】Nude Model Sketching Workshop New Taipei Life Drawing Taipei Experience Course

This is not just a human body sketching class, but also an artistic experience that combines "observation, perception and free expression". This course is personally taught by sculptor Zhang Yutian, who integrates his learning and creation experience at Brooklyn University in New York, and brings the "personal style exploration, improvisation and process experience" emphasized in American art education into the classroom. The course has an open and free pace, encouraging students to let go of their obsession with "completion" and regain the ability to observe with their eyes and feel the lines with their bodies. Students will practice short dynamic poses with professional nude models (change poses every 30 minutes, and the model will rest for 10 minutes), and conduct a series of sketching challenges ranging from 30 minutes, 15 minutes to 5 minutes, gradually mastering the basics of dynamic capture and proportional structure. Warm snacks and drinks will be provided during the class to create a relaxed, open and stress-free artistic atmosphere. 👤 Lecturer introduction｜Yutien Chang Chang Yu-Tian, a sculptor, was born in Taipei. He graduated from the Department of Sculpture at the National Taiwan University of Arts and obtained a Master's degree in Studio Art from Brooklyn College, City University of New York. He has been traveling between Taiwan and the United States for many years to create and exhibit. His style combines Eastern spirit with Western free creative spirit. His works often use themes such as people and society, animal metaphors, identity and choice, showing his deep concern for contemporary issues. His exhibitions have taken place at art fairs in New York, Berlin, Amsterdam and Taiwan, and he has been invited to be interviewed by publications such as Focus Magazine, ART FUSE and BAZAAR Taiwan. In class, he will bring an artistic inspiration method with an international perspective and contemporary sense to inspire you to have a new understanding of human body expression.
