Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1983, with a background in craft design. He once wandered the streets of Japan, experiencing how wooden art infused warm and deep vitality into ancient alleys. These objects, like fragments of time, carrying the traces of history and the contours of the future, seek a subtle balance between opposition and harmony, transforming into delicate works that closely connect the vision of the new generation with the simplicity of the old era. Agarwood, once ground into powder for appreciation, was solemnly placed in the sunniest part of the home in Japan, symbolizing vitality and light.
Agarwood is sourced directly from its origin, pure and flawless, untouched by artificial processes like boiling glue, drawing lines, or synthetic fragrances. It is presented in its most original form. Through ancient scent-extraction techniques, the outer layer of deadwood is meticulously peeled by hand, revealing the true soul of the agarwood. This not only imbues it with eternal vitality but also allows tradition and modern craftsmanship to intertwine subtly at your fingertips, creating a feast for both sight and smell. The rich aroma is like the condensation of time, gently pulling together memories of the past and aspirations for the future, allowing them to meet and resonate within the fragrance, continuing endlessly, distant and profound.
