【Impression Dynasty・Yucheng Gualou Pot】
Dynasty: Mid-Qing Dynasty / Ingredients: Purple clay / Capacity: 160cc
Yucheng Kiln is not only a place for making wares, but also an extension and practice of the literati spirit.
As an elegant workshop jointly created by calligraphy and painting masters, cultural celebrities, and ceramic artists in the late Qing Dynasty, Yucheng Kiln's works have always been known for their "exquisite shapes, ingenious carvings, and profound meanings."
This pot is inspired by the melons in daily life. It has an elegant shape and combines practicality with interest.
The knob of the pot is in the shape of a melon stem with a hole in the middle, just like picking a melon from a vine, full of life; the lid is tightly embedded and fits perfectly, and the details show the superb craftsmanship.
One side of the pot is engraved with the words "Grown in a shed, can make soup. Made into a pot, for drinkers to drink", which comes from a natural language and describes the interesting process of melon being transformed from a vegetable into a tea utensil, with philosophical thoughts contained in the humor. The characters are dynamic and the engravings are graceful and smooth, showing the exquisiteness of Yucheng Kiln calligraphy. It is relevant to both the object and the subject, achieving the dual beauty of the object and the text.
The Gualou teapot inherits the spirit of the Mansheng teapot, but also has its own style. It is a fine teapot that combines elegance and cultural depth.
The lingering charm of Yucheng is still there, and the wonderful flavoring is hidden in the tea soup, which is worth appreciating and cherishing.
【Frequently Asked Questions】
1. How to open the kettle before use
Scrub the inside and outside thoroughly. It is recommended to use a sponge, but do not use any chemical agents. Simply put, just wash it with water and you can use it normally.
2. How to soak
Keep it clean and dry during and after use, otherwise tea stains may form. Place in ventilated place after use. If you want to store it in a box for a long time, you need to dry it naturally for 1-2 months to allow the moisture in the pores to evaporate fully, otherwise it will easily become moldy.
3. How to clean tea stains or mold?
Use enzyme soaking.
4. Warm the kettle correctly
When the weather is cold, or if the pot has not been used for a long time, please use 40 degrees Celsius warm water to pour inside and outside the pot, then fill the pot up to allow the purple clay pores to fully absorb the water.
5. How to care for engraved works
There are carvings on the body of the pot, so it is recommended to use a brush to clean it.

The safety of transportation is fully borne by Yanhuang Dadi Art. If there is any damage, please contact customer service immediately.
