A young potter who continues to protect the kiln left by his grandfather, the late Yo Asano (ceramic artist, professor emeritus at Tokyo University of the Arts, author of many books on pottery and food) in Minamiashigara, which is rich in nature. Like my grandfather, I value the relationship between food and tableware, and while pursuing the beauty of use and the joy of use, I create tableware that makes the food look better and brightens up the dining table.
