As our fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving flaws" may appear, which might look like "fraying" at first glance. While these are unavoidable with the use of antique machinery, we make every effort to minimize them through rigorous factory inspections and careful fabric cutting. If found, we use them in less conspicuous areas. However, due to the nature of the machinery, complete elimination is not possible.
