It is recommended to regularly wipe and maintain the leather strap to extend its lifespan. Especially during summer when sweating is common or when in contact with sunscreen, use a pure water wet wipe to clean the entire leather strap. After it has completely dried, apply oil evenly with a cotton cloth. This also helps to remove waterproof sunscreen. 2. If the leather becomes soaked, dry it as soon as possible and then reapply oil for protection. Allowing it to air dry naturally can cause the leather's structure to shrink, deform, and harden. 3. To prevent dark water stains if water drips on the leather: use a pure water wet wipe, a damp (but not dripping) paper towel, or a napkin to evenly wipe the entire leather surface, including the area where the water dripped. Use cool air to dry it evenly. If only hot air is available, keep it at least thirty centimeters away from the leather. After drying, apply leather oil for maintenance. 4. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. 5. In addition to the natural warmth and oils from your hands gradually giving the leather a warm, lustrous sheen, it is also recommended to regularly wipe with a dry cloth and then maintain with leather oil. 6. Mold spots on leather are formed over time from dust meeting humidity in the air. Therefore, if you are storing leather goods for a long period, first wipe off dust with a dry cloth, then wrap them in a dust bag, kraft paper, or cotton cloth (you can cut from an old white cotton t-shirt) and store them in a ventilated area. Alternatively, frequent handling of the leather item (to prevent dust and moisture from settling) can also reduce the chance of mold, similar to the principle of "rolling stones gather no moss." 7.
