Also known as the fortune cat or Maneki-neko, 招財貓 is a popular character in Chinese and Japanese culture, said to bring good luck to the owner. The cat is portrayed to have one paw up as if beckoning good fortune. :)

This fortune cat brooch is lovingly hand-sewn with embroidered facial details and a tiny felt bell applique. It has a brooch pin attached behind to pin onto anything for luck.
