It can be maintained with regular wiping and can also be polished with a silver polishing cloth. (After cleaning, try to keep it dry and avoid leaving it in standing water, as this can lead to oxidation.) * The color of pure pewter changing from bright to dull is a normal oxidation phenomenon (it will not be too noticeable. You can handle it often to allow a small amount of natural oil to adhere, reducing oxidation.)
