Organic Ethanol produced from Fair Trade organic sugar cane. According to the CDC, high proof Ethyl alcohol, at concentrations of 60%–80%, is a potent virucidal (virus killing) agent for many viruses. Organic Witch Hazel is used in this recipe for its skin-soothing properties. Organic Vegetable Glycerin is included in this recipe for its moisturizing emollient properties as well as to thicken the solution slightly. The organic glycerin that we normally purchase is derived from organic flaxseed. Depending on availability we may also use glycerin from organic sunflower or palm oils. It is not derived from coconut oil. This recipe also includes organic essential oils, many of which have been used for their antibacterial and antiviral as well as skin-soothing properties for hundreds of years. For example: Tea Tree: Due to its antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties, tea tree oil is often called a "first aid kit in a bottle." Rosemary, Peppermint, Spearmint, and Eucalyptus: Besides their refreshing and invigorating scents these oils also have antibacterial and antiviral properties. 【Other Uses】 Take our portable hand spray everywhere.
