While the warp threads are cotton, the weft threads are merino wool, ensuring the surface that touches your skin is soft merino. We've combined thick and fine wools, mohair, and decorative threads for a rich texture. Dimensions are approximately 37cm wide x 200cm long (including fringe of approx. 5cm and side fringe of approx. 2cm). It weighs just 198g, making this long stole feel incredibly light and airy. After weaving, the piece undergoes a felting process (a thorough wash to remove impurities and enhance texture). Pre-dyed wool yarns are used. ________________________ Origin / Production Method Japan / Handmade ◎ Gentle handwashing at home is recommended. ◎ Please avoid washing machines, dryers, and bleach. ◎ Avoid hot water and vigorous rubbing. Gently swish or press the stole in water or lukewarm water (0-30°C) mixed with a neutral detergent (such as Acron or Emal, designed for delicate fabrics). Rinse gently twice, remove excess water with a towel, reshape, and dry in the shade (the entire process takes about 2-3 minutes). Drying after lightly ironing with a pressing cloth can result in a smoother finish. ◎ Iron on a medium setting with a pressing cloth. ◎ For long-term storage, keeping it with desiccants and moth repellents will ensure its preservation. ◎ A simple care instruction manual, in either Japanese or English, is included with your purchase.
