This process creates a fabric that is "light," "soft," and develops a "patina" rather than "deterioration," emphasizing a relaxed, natural texture. As our fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving imperfections" may appear, which can look like minor "frays." While these are unavoidable with vintage machinery, we strive to minimize them through rigorous quality control at the factory and careful fabric cutting. Any imperfections found are placed in less visible areas. However, due to the nature of the machinery, they cannot be entirely eliminated.
