She wouldn’t waste both fabric and history of artisan work of Kimono as much as possible. She has a warm respect for vintage works and former Kimono seamstresses. Each item has so much ingenious work in various corners of the shirts such as sleeves, front inner, collar, the pattern matching/ asymmetrically matching, patch working, any possibilities to save the material is her speciality. So please understand that there might be small defects usually vintage garments have from a long storage. However we thoroughly select acceptable materials for the worth of making UMUI shirts.
