Currently, some jadeite with less desirable quality is treated with strong acid immersion or laser etching to fill in colors, making its appearance similar to high-grade jadeite. Jadeite on the market is typically identified by the letters A, B, and C to distinguish the quality of jadeite products: - A-grade jadeite: Natural jadeite, unprocessed. - B-grade jadeite: Bleached and resin-infused jadeite, treated with strong acid washing and resin filling. - C-grade jadeite: Dyed jadeite, artificially colored. Only A-grade jadeite is genuine; all others are artificially treated. 💖 Care Instructions 💖 - If not worn for an extended period, store in a moisture-proof bag to prevent prolonged contact with air. - Store each piece of jewelry separately to avoid scratches from friction. For chain necklaces, fasten the clasp and store in a moisture-proof bag to prevent tangling. - Sterling silver: Polish with a silver polishing cloth. - Gold-plated/filled materials: Wipe with a cotton cloth (do not use silver cleaner). - Jadeite and gemstones: Use a soft toothbrush with clean water to gently brush the jadeite. Rinse with clean water and then dry with a cotton cloth or let it air dry in a ventilated area. Avoid wearing any jewelry while hot spring bathing or in seawater. It is recommended to remove jewelry before showering. Avoid contact with chemical products (to prevent oxidation and fading). - It is recommended to apply sunscreen and perfume before putting on jewelry. - All jewelry is handmade and designed.
