After removing, rinse with cold water to wash away surface blood stains. 2. Apply hand wash liquid/baking soda/mild laundry detergent to the stained area and soak for over three hours. The water level should be slightly above the cloth pad. (Avoid soaking in hot water, as it can set the stains and make them harder to remove.) 3. Once blood stains are removed, simply wash with detergent and air dry (in the bathroom or a well-ventilated indoor area, occasionally placing in sunlight for disinfection). Ensure it is completely dry before storing. 4. You can soak again with baking soda or sodium percarbonate to remove the yellowing; it does not affect usability. • For leak-proof styles, avoid wringing. You can absorb excess water with a towel and then air dry to extend its lifespan. Also, avoid using soaps containing glycerin, as residue on the waterproof layer, when exposed to sunlight, may cause it to become brittle and damaged.
