This batch is from Honduras / Finca El Jardín. It's a coffee family with four generations of history. When Mario's father inherited the estate, it spanned 16 hectares; now it has expanded to 52 hectares. It's currently managed by the youngest son, Mario Mejia. The Mejia family has long focused on producing typical Honduran coffees. These coffees, processed using the washed method, offer sweetness and nutty flavors, with a full body and low acidity, typically scoring between 80 and 82 points. Our purchased lot averaged 84.5 points.
It's not quite at the 88-point level of super-premium coffees, but it offers an ideally clean flavor profile! We've chosen a light-medium roast to highlight notes of nuts, caramel, candy sugar, and a hint of spice, making it a great choice for iced coffee and daily brews! We hope you'll all enjoy it!

▶ Direct trade from origin is something we've been doing since 2020! At that time, we purchased several coffees from Caravera Coffee (UK company), but unfortunately, the volume was insufficient, and communication and product integration were difficult, so we paused. Subsequently, Sidang Coffee continued to primarily source from Taiwanese green bean importers. Both approaches are valid, but if we can achieve "direct trade from origin," that's the path we aspire to, as it's the most beneficial business model for everyone involved!
"Direct trade from origin" means: "Importing coffee without intermediaries, establishing direct relationships between producers and roasters, and conducting transactions and imports with price transparency." Our partner, TYPICA COFFEE (Japan), is remarkable. You can find all transparent data on their official website, including the cost of green beans (detailing how each portion of coffee revenue is allocated), origin stories, details, and cupping score reports.
