In its steady and luminous light, Saturn teaches us to embrace responsibility while discerning between true duty, burdens, and the choice to persist or let go. When boundaries are established, the path forward becomes clear. Your will can settle and anchor, your energy drawing inward. The base is olive oil, infused with patchouli, black copal, rose apple buds, aspen leaves, and silver poplar during a Scorpio new moon. This is then simmered with jasmine, cypress branches and leaves (collected from Kifune Shrine), cocoa butter, and refined dragon's blood resin. Finally, ku-gell myrrh essential oil, labdanum essential oil, Sumatra patchouli essential oil, Madagascar patchouli essential oil, cypress essential oil, black spruce essential oil, cinnamon essential oil, papyrus essential oil, and rhododendron keiskei essential oil are added. (Note: Due to the small total proportion of essential oils, the scent may not be strong.) Additionally, since gold leaf was mixed in, it may float in the wax pool as it burns. The base is layered with black copal powder, followed by crushed elm leaves and cedar powder. ✨✨✨ I finally created the Saturn candle for the planetary series. However, my intention wasn't to create something heavy. This is how I ultimately chose to interpret it (the blend indeed uses many plants not traditionally associated with Saturn).
