The first project of Pork House Tie™ is "Hong Kong Ghost Stories" (referred to as "Ghosts"). Hong Kong lyricist Lin Xi once said: "The existence of ghost stories is the precious thing about Hong Kong." The emergence of local ghost legends, behind the scenes They often reflect the social conditions, customs, and unique historical background at that time, and are worth recording and preserving. We hope to explore Hong Kong’s century-old history, culture and identity with everyone by gathering together centuries-old Hong Kong folk ghost legends.
"Goblin" uses food toys (しょくがん) stickers as a carrier to interpret Hong Kong's ghost legends. This type of food toys stickers were first included in Japanese snack packaging in 1977. The general size is 4.8 x 4.8cm, and the public calls them "Chocolate cake stickers", "food toy stickers" or "cake stickers". In the 1980s and 1990s, Hong Kong was influenced by Japanese pop culture. This kind of "food and toys stickers" was also one of the collective childhood memories of many Hong Kong people. We systematically integrated 100 ghost legends and combined them with the food and toys stickers. It has become a new media that records the "Encyclopedia of Monsters" belonging to Hong Kong people with pictures and texts.
The plan is to launch a total of 100 food and toy stickers with the theme of Hong Kong ghost legends. For each story, we create a monster character and include its introduction. The food stickers are combined with special printing effects, such as laser flash stickers, hot stamping and Silver hot stamping, etc. to enhance the collection value of "Hong Kong Ghost Story".
The "Hong Kong Ghost Stories" sticker series compiles stories about hundreds of local ghosts, with original illustrations and text to fully interpret the mysterious events. Volume 6 includes "Wah Fu Estate Sarcophagus", "Sister Li Lingxian", "Fire Dragon", and "Wah Fu Estate UFO".
