Stanley Fung
Artist Introduction |
Stanley Fung, a clergyman and artist, is renowned for his black-and-white portrait photography series "Dust Saints." He also concurrently develops various photographic series focusing on still life, weeds, bodies, and bones. Between 2011 and 2013, he successively won the Bronze, Gold, and Silver Awards in photography at the National Fine Arts Exhibition. In 2016, he published the photography essay collection "Light Illuminating Dust" (Yuan-Liou Publishing), and in the same year, received the First Prize of the Ruan Yizhong Photography Humanistic Award. In 2019, the National Photography Culture Center acquired over ten of his works for its collection. In addition to being regularly invited for exhibitions and lectures in Taiwan, his works have also been exhibited in galleries, art fairs, and photography festivals in mainland China, France, the United States, South Korea, Japan, and the United Kingdom.
