This is a hand dyed scarf using natural dyes only.
On the light green side I hand dyed with stencil dyeing katazome and made chrysanthemum pattern. We use our hand-carved paper =katagami for applying different tone colors. Katazome is one of dyeing techniques using stencil paper =katagami.
