White Dogwood Brooch - Elegant Vintage Style with Czech Beads

A brooch featuring the popular spring flower, the Dogwood (Hanamizuki). Dogwood motifs are often found in vintage jewelry from overseas. The "White" dogwood flowers feature a soft pearlescent finish. The flowers are elegantly surrounded by Czech beads and three types of large pearls, carefully chosen for their unique colors and luster. We selected Czech beads that complement each flower color, mixing opalescent, transparent, matte, and pearl finishes. While monochromatic, the various textures ensure a sophisticated, non-monotonous look. Although the pearls are large, they are made of resin, making the brooch surprisingly lightweight. The first type, "Moon Pearl," reveals a beautiful faint blue shimmer depending on the angle of light. The second type is "Ceras Pearl," which has a multi-colored pearlescent coating over a clear base, resembling iridescent soap bubbles. For this "White" version, we also used our signature "Air Pearl," which offers an elegant texture similar to polished Japanese Washi paper. The metal base color is silver. The brooch pin features a rotating safety lock. For added security, we also include a silicone brooch stopper. The 6th image shows the brooch on a near-life-size silhouette for scale. The latest batch of dogwood parts arrived in a different shade. While still pearlescent, the previous "off-white" has been replaced by a "pure white." To better complement this bright white, we adjusted the pearl colors and changed the metal base from antique gold to silver. The new version feels much brighter and more refreshing. We hope you love the updated "White" design! ◇ ◇ ◇ The pearlescent coating on the dogwood parts may show minor unevenness or tiny marks (see 5th image). These are part of the vintage-inspired design. Czech beads may have tiny surface pits, scratches, or internal bubbles. Shapes and colors may also vary slightly per bead, which are characteristics of Czech glass. The parts are secured to the base with nylon thread. While they may feel slightly mobile, they are firmly attached and will not come off. Beads are arranged to hide the metal base as much as possible, though the base may be visible near the metal prongs due to construction needs. Each piece is handmade, so size and shape may vary slightly. As this is a delicate item, please handle it with care. Avoid using on delicate fabrics where needle holes may be prominent.
