【Family Reunion】Mini Mountain-Shaped Cup - Rooster & Hen Edition (Home)
Mornings in the Yilan countryside often begin with the sounds of chickens from one's own or a neighbor's yard, and it is a common sight to see them wandering through the courtyards of traditional Sanheyuan houses. In Taiwanese folk weddings, the 'leading hen' symbolizes the start of a new life for newlyweds, while the 'couple chickens' serve as a blessing for a harmonious marriage. In Minnan, the word for 'chicken' sounds like the word for 'family,' making the chicken a symbol of family unity. The word for 'egg' sounds like the word for 'generation,' so the hen laying an egg represents the passing of traditions through generations. The Sanshing Four Seasons reunion chicken tableware collection combines unique local blue and white patterns with classic porcelain craftsmanship, allowing you to enjoy the rustic lifestyle of Yilan at your daily dining table.
【Production】
Hand-glazed and blue and white printed.
★This piece is handmade, celebrating a natural, tactile aesthetic. Due to high-temperature firing, the shape may not be perfectly circular, and slight variations in size and shape will occur for each piece.
The white glaze is hand-dipped, which may result in natural flowing marks and drips. The hand-printed blue and white patterns will feature variations in tone and intensity after firing. Occasional natural brown iron spots or blue glaze specks may appear; please refrain from ordering if you have strict requirements for color uniformity.
