Made to Order Our silver jewelry is made by local artisans with more than 10 years of experience, under the roof of a small workshop in our beloved Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital. The art of silver filigree making in Vietnam was formed in the VII century and is maintained until now. Every piece of jewelry must go through a variety of processes; each one can only be done by hand. In the beginning, the craftsmen melt the silver bricks and draw them into wires of different gauges, and then each wire is laminated into a smaller thread. The thickness and flatness of the thread are determined by the design, the thinnest one is 0,26mm. After that, the craftsmen use different techniques to make each detail of the design. Finally, all parts are shaped and soldered. This art of filigree making requires strength to control the fire and use heavy tools, yet the skillfulness to bend and twist little threads into tiny details.
