Made using colored glass of different shapes・ This course does not require cutting the glass, but trimming the edges so they fit your design. It touches people's hearts. Even now, I am still fascinated by the colorful colors of the sun shining through the church windows, enjoying the mysterious light, and still full of emotion. #Mosaic glass is to cut glass of various colors to create a designed pattern, and it is also combined with stained glass to add storytelling. Each brand of stained glass has different production techniques. The color, light transmittance, and performance of expensive handmade glass are completely different from mass-produced general stained glass. The color of the glass is based on the oxides of metals added. Each metallic element has its own unique spectral characteristics and displays different colors. For example, adding these oxides to glass ingredients is like tinting the glass. For example, by adding chromium oxide (Cr2O3), the glass turns green; manganese dioxide (MnO2), the glass turns purple; cobalt oxide (Co2O3), the glass turns blue, etc. The handmade stained glass are unique and fascinating works of art. #Taiwan’s mosaic glass As everyone knows, they are probably the National Taiwan Museum (on Guanqian Road, Taipei City) and the Sagrada Familia in Taipei; the Dome of Light at the Formosa Formosa Station of the Kaohsiung MRT is a famous large-scale work in recent years. There are more or less surviving public buildings from the Japanese colonial period. After the Meiji Restoration, Japan absorbed a large amount of Western culture. The art of mosaic glass also flourished during this period and was subsequently introduced to Taiwan. Mosaic glass may be used in some private houses, but in few cases There are fewer; currently they are mostly installed in churches.
