Dry cleaning or hand washing separately (do not soak) is recommended. If machine washing, please place the garment in a laundry bag before washing. Air dry naturally after washing. It is advised to wash dark and light colors separately and avoid using bleach. Wrinkles are a normal characteristic of natural linen after washing. Gently smooth the fabric after washing and air dry. Then, iron at a high temperature to restore its smoothness. About Comme forêt We begin with a foundation of natural and fresh style apparel. Our process involves original design, pattern making, and sample creation using two home sewing machines. Occasionally, we collaborate with a skilled seamstress, an elder aunt, for production. We produce in very small batches locally in Taipei, hoping to revive the beauty of small-batch handmade clothing. We design comfortable and elegant garments, driven by the same initial intention as making clothes for ourselves, our family, or friends – we only create pieces we would want to wear ourselves.
