It is a calcium phosphate mineral, exhibiting a beautiful blue hue due to the presence of iron. I've paired various shapes of blue apatite with sterling silver elements. It is not recommended to wear the bracelet while bathing, as cleaning products can clog these pores and diminish the stone's natural luster. For the sterling silver parts, the degree of oxidation will vary depending on each person's body's pH level and wearing habits. By polishing with a "silver polishing cloth" or brushing with "toothpaste," the brightness can generally be restored by about 80%!! Σ Important Notes Σ 1.
