wAndon (Handmade Washi paper lantern kit, pentagonal pyramid)

wAndon is a pentagonal pyramid tipi type lampshade kit made of Ehime Prefecture's famous Ozu Washi paper. Ozu Washi is a handmade Japanese paper that is highly regarded as a paper for crafts such as shoji paper, calligraphy paper, mounting paper, prints, and colored Japanese paper. We produced this Ozu Washi as an interior design that you can feel familiar with. It comes in three parts and comes with an instruction manual for easy assembly. Place a flickering LED candle or other light source inside to enjoy the gentle light of the lantern. (Light source is not included. Please purchase separately.) Washi paper can be used as a gift for Father's Day, Mother's Day, Respect-for-the-Aged Day, etc., by writing pictures or messages on it, or as a kit to create with children for crafts at elementary schools or kindergartens. The set comes in two sheets, one of your choice of washi paper and one of plain white washi paper. Please choose the color of your favorite washi paper from the numbers (1) to (8). You can use the plain white washi as a gift with your child's message or drawing on it, or write calligraphy on it, or use it as you wish. ○ As shown in the fourth photo, we recommend using crayons or crayons for drawing pictures or writing messages. If you write with a marker, the Japanese paper may become tattered. The resin parts are made of PLA (polylactic acid), which is environmentally friendly and can be decomposed by microorganisms such as compost.
