Vintage English bone china two-tier cake stand made by Royal Albert - Plates & Trays - Porcelain Blue

Product Description

Vintage English bone china two-tier cake stand from the Flower of the Month July "Forget-me-not" series made by Royal Albert. Thomas C. Wild bought the Albert Works in Longton, Stoke on Trent in 1895. This factory had been named after Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's Consort. It specialised in tea, breakfast and dessert pieces with floral designs, and it soon gained a reputation of producing beautiful china tea & breakfast sets, firmly establishing the Royal Albert name. The Flower of the Month July "Forget-me-not" pattern was first introduced in 1970. The mark at the bottom indicates that it was produced in the 1980s / 1990s. This item features a metal handle. Overall, it is in good condition with a a little wear on the gold rims only and possible slight surface marks on the glaze. The photographs are a part of the description.
