About the Creator: Illustrationist and Principal of the Banana School for Un-tailed Animals, Li Jin-lun has been a voice for animals through her creations for twenty years. Many grew up reading her works, such as "Zi Er, Tu Tu." From "No. 39 Animal Hospital," "A Gentle, Kind, and Wealthy Lady and Her Hundred Dogs," "Speaking Ill of Cats," and "Calling My Cat," to her 2023 new release "A Dog's Last Will," her work touches everyone who deeply loves animals. From picture books, writing columns, and giving school talks, to designing cultural and creative products, she uses the power of her art to teach more children to love animals. Through this, she discovered that the most fundamental way to improve the plight of stray animals lies with "people." Thus, the Banana School for Un-tailed Animals was born! About the Banana School for Un-tailed Animals: Located at Pier-2 Art Center in Kaohsiung, the Banana School for Un-tailed Animals is Taiwan's first hub dedicated to creativity and the promotion of animal knowledge. It aims to foster mutual learning between people and animals, encouraging "get to know them first, then adopt." The goal is for both humans and pets to thrive together and grow old together, preventing abandonment. Since its launch in March 2022, it has received the Golden Pin Design Award for Social Design in 2022, the 2022 Social Care Friendly Environment Award, and the 2023 German Service Design Award in the Education and Learning category.
