Fired at 1260°C, it undergoes a 20-hour intense heat transformation. Within the kiln, the glaze contracts and flows, forming the intricate patterns and fluid movement reminiscent of peacock feathers. The challenge in its creation lies in the precise control of glaze thickness and the temperature curve. Too thin or insufficient temperature will prevent the "peacock display" pattern from forming. Conversely, too thick or excessive temperature can cause the glaze to flow onto the base, fusing the cup and base together. Even ambient temperature variations influence the final outcome. Numerous factors contribute to its unique appearance, and despite years of dedicated study, its behavior remains subtly unpredictable. This inherent variability, however, underscores the preciousness of each completed work. It is hoped that this piece inspires resilience, encouraging everyone to embrace hope when facing challenges and to persevere.
