In order to continue the studio's sustainable small project-we combined pearls with the concept of Japanese repaired porcelain Kintsugi (a plate with lacquer and gold powder bonded) to create this unique series of semi-jewelry works.
The mottled, broken, and incomplete cavities on the pearl, we repair its incompleteness, give it a chance to be reborn, and become a beautiful individual that will never be replaced.
