These earrings are crafted by connecting large antique gooseneck beads with silver beads.
The striped beads are known as "goosenecks," antique beads from Venice (19th-20th century).
They are named for their resemblance to the fruit of the blackcurrant bush.
While showing minor imperfections, these beads are in excellent condition and possess a subtle pink hue.
This is the largest size of gooseneck bead we have ever featured!
(Gooseneck bead size: 0.8cm height, 1cm diameter)
The flower-like components above and below are also made of sterling silver (925).
The plump silver beads are individually handcrafted.
The cap atop the pink opal is also silver.
The double helix hoops and the small beads in between are Karen silver.
The connecting pins are also silver.
These earrings feature soft hues that evoke a longing for spring.
