【Taipei Knitting Class】Pancake Stitch Scarf / Yarn Craft Experience - Knitting / Felted Wool / Cloth - Cotton

Workshop Description

🧣 With just a basic grasp of knit and purl stitches, you can create so many wonderful styles with knitting needles! 👍 This pancake-stitch scarf is made by alternating knit and purl stitches, creating a textured, three-dimensional pattern that's as delightful as a fluffy pancake—are you a fan of sweet condensed milk? ❤️ Oh, and a common concern when wearing scarves: this one looks great on both sides, so no worries about wearing it inside out! XD **▸ Class Duration** 3 hours If you're an experienced knitter, we can cover joining yarn and finishing techniques within one session. For beginners, we recommend practicing the stitches at home beforehand to build confidence! However, due to the scarf's size, completing it in one class isn't feasible. Feel free to book another session if you have further questions. 😊 **▸ Learning Objectives** 1. Knitting cast-on 2. Understanding knitting patterns 3. Knitting stitch techniques 4. Size adjustments 5. Changing colors and joining yarn 6. Weaving in ends and finishing **▸ Workshop Fee Includes** 2 skeins of yarn, knitting needles, a yarn sewing needle, a printed knitting pattern, class instruction, and studio space usage. Yarn stock changes daily, so it's best to let us know your preferred color when booking. **▸ Color Chart (Material: Cotton)** https://emily.com.tw/wp-content/uploads/C02-1.jpg **▸ Mengmeng x Handmade** In the winter of 2010, a Cancerian girl who loved gathering friends for yarn crafts embarked on a journey of teaching knitting. Her creations often lean towards the cute and therapeutic, with each stitch carrying a warmth that encourages quiet contemplation. During class, the pace is adjusted to suit each student's skill level and progress, offering guidance on hand movements and clarifying any challenges. This approach helps you learn knitting techniques and concepts organically. If you enjoy hands-on activities and are willing to invest time in learning, this is the perfect place for you. 😊 https://emily.com.tw/wp-content/uploads/emilystudio-1.jpg **▸ Location and Transportation** Mengmeng x Handmade Studio @ Songshan District, Taipei City Upon successful registration, a pre-class notice and the designer's contact information will be sent via platform message. MRT: Nanjing Sanmin Station, Exit 1, approximately a 10-15 minute walk. Driving/Motorcycle: Parking spots are available near the entrance. You can look for parking after arriving at the destination. For cars, weekdays during the day offer easier parking; evenings and weekends can be more challenging. https://emily.com.tw/wp-content/uploads/emilystudio.jpg
