This technique requires no nails or rivets; it relies solely on hand-carving and traditional machinery to create mortise and tenon joints, assembling precisely cut wooden pieces into intricate and complex patterns. Known as Kumiko in Japan, it's called window grille craftsmanship in Taiwan. The exquisite skill of Zhenli window grilles is truly astonishing.
