Once fully developed, this layer prevents light from passing through, making the surface appear black. The "Ibushi Series" captures the gradual transformation of silver, revealing both its intermediate hues and fully matured smoky silver tones. This natural oxidation process, known for its subtle shine and long maturation period, has inspired the Japanese term "Ibushi Gin", which represents understated elegance and refined depth of character.
