Early Japanese pottery only had unglazed and wood-fired pottery. Because of the high expectations for the gorgeousness of Tangwu at that time, Japanese potters tried their best to imitate Chinese pottery, so they discovered new ways of firing pottery inadvertently.
Huang Seto was originally designed to imitate the appearance of blue magnets, but the unique glaze color was born inadvertently during the trial production process. This is also the first time that Japan has produced a yellow glaze object, so it is given the unique name "Golden Wabi"
The characteristic of Yellow Seto is that the whole is covered with glaze color to make it appear yellow, and then other colors are added. The color is formed by adding "Ball vitriol green glaze" containing Bronze component and brown after oxidation of iron in clay. The decorative effect becomes the characteristic of Huang Seto.
