Neriage is a ceramic decorating technique that involves mixing different colored clay. Through layering, twisting, and polishing to creat unique and natural textures. Differences in the coefficient of expansion among different clays may cause cracks during the firing process. It's impossible to fully control the patterns in Neriage, yet this is precisely what makes this technique valuable and unique.
Kohiki(こひき) is a traditional Japanese ceramic technique renowned for its simple and understated beauty. By applying a layer of white slip to the surface of the pottery and then glazing it with a transparent glaze, kohiki ware exhibits a warm texture and delicate patterns, making it perfect for everyday use. The interaction between the slip and the glaze at high temperatures creates unique patterns and color variations. Compared to other decorative techniques, kohiki emphasizes simple, natural forms. Inspired by kohiki, my work involves applying white glaze to a dark clay body. By borrowing the concept of slip from kohiki, I aim to create a visual effect that is distinct from traditional kohiki while still preserving its pursuit of simplicity and natural beauty.
The Everything Tray is a versatile tray that you can put everything on it, most commonly used for food, dessert, and accessories. It works great as a base for agate or crystal.
【Notice】
1. Despite identical shapes and glaze colors, each piece may vary slightly due to handcrafting. Variations in clay type, glaze application, and firing temperatures contribute to unique characteristics of handmade pottery.
2. Photos may have slight color differences compared to the actual objects. crackle, pores, and small particles in the glaze during firing are normal occurrences and do not affect usability. Due to handmade production, there may be slight discrepancies in size and glaze color even for the same product. Please refer to the received items for accuracy. Feel free to inquire for any questions before placing an order.
3. To avoid disputes, please record an unboxing video upon receipt to verify if any damage occurred during shipping. Failure to provide a video may result in a refund refusal. By placing an order, you agree to these guidelines.

【@Studio_Florero】
The choice of "Florero" as the brand name stems from the Mandarin term "花瓶" (huā píng), which sometimes metaphorically refers to objects that adorn but serve no practical purpose. However, the intention isn't to beautify ordinary objects or assign practical value to beauty. Through the implied meaning of "Florero," I hope to remind everyone that adorning surfaces itself holds significant importance.
【Artist Introduction】
Wu Chia Ying
Born in 1990, from Taipei.
"Creating aesthetically pleasing and durable vessels" is at the core of my philosophy. I do not seek to imbue ordinary objects with beauty or practical value, but rather view them as an integral part of life itself. The act of crafting and designing objects is my moment of creation. Objects designed and created by me are not vessels for grand ideas or the life journey of an author; a competent object, whether a cup for tea or a bowl for meals, is itself a vessel for life.
