What is the kiln-firing process?** American clay, Japanese clay, and Miaoli clay are mixed in different proportions. The creation process involves pure hand-shaping (not on a pottery wheel) to gradually form the piece. After basic shaping, the body lines are refined, then polished to complete the greenware. Once loaded into the kiln, it undergoes a five-day, four-night continuous firing process using natural firewood from longan and acacia trees. The temperature reaches over 1200 degrees Celsius. During this time, natural ash adheres to the pieces, forming a special ash glaze. Simultaneously, the flame marks within the kiln flow among the pieces, creating beautiful orange-red or blue-purple flame patterns. After five days and four nights of ash and flame interplay, a week of cooling is required before the piece achieves its beautiful form! What should guests be aware of?** Product colors may vary slightly due to photographic lighting. As pieces are purely handmade, they will inevitably retain traces of the hand-shaping process. The pieces may also exhibit slight variations due to the firing process, such as slight imperfections in the rim or minor production scratches, which are normal and do not affect usability.
