Design Concept | Inspiration Fear is humanity's oldest and most potent emotion; and the oldest and most potent fear is the fear of the unknown. Excerpted from "Supernatural Horror in Literature" This piece is one of the rare occasions where I've chosen to represent a skull. The inspiration stems from a young woman's journey. Throughout her life, she experienced losses, big and small. Just as she managed to grasp onto moments of beauty, she was repeatedly forced to make choices. But each choice meant confronting the unknown once more. In truth, our lives are a continuous encounter with the unknown. This young woman, not entirely resilient, faced it alone, shedding tears behind the door of her forced decisions. It was this narrative that became my inspiration. I consider the young woman in reality to be incredibly brave, for she still chose to face it, despite the possibility of enduring another emotional trial. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// In the design, a skull peeks out from behind a stone wall, revealing half its face as it watches cautiously, hesitant to venture out. Outside the stone wall, two snakes stealthily approach. Their intentions are unclear, but this is the essence of the unknown I aimed to convey.
