The embroidered design is "Delivery Dragon" ~An Old Man Dragon Delivering Ramen~ Zodiac Series: Year of the Dragon - - - - - Poitocose's Little Tale: "Delivery Dragon" Grandpa Dragon runs a Chinese restaurant. He goes back and forth across town on his clunky motorbike today too. With a food carrier hanging from his tail, he breaks a sweat, Vrooming here, vrooming there. He often gets orders wrong, But his signature Chinese noodles have many fans! - - - - - ◎ Poitocose and India In Aisho Town, Shiga Prefecture, where our shop is located, many foreigners work. Among them were Barrack, an Indian engineer, and Wei from Vietnam. We learned that cotton cultivation has a long history in India and boasts world-class production volume! Barrack wanted to convey Indian culture to Japan, and Poitocose makes embroidered accessories. Starting in 2023, we began collaborating on product development using Indian cotton. With Barrack's help, we connected with an Indian sewing factory. Despite struggling with unfamiliar English communication and cultural differences, we managed to overcome the difficulties! Through repeated meetings via video calls and emails, our Indian cotton items were created. The Indian Cotton Series items are custom-made at an Indian sewing factory and then individually embroidered at Poitocose's studio in Shiga.
