Hand-Woven Linen Stole [Aya-Hana *01] Material: 97% Linen, 3% Silk Size: Approx. 60cm x 200cm (excluding 10cm fringe) This oversized stole is hand-woven using a complex 8-heddle twill weave technique, crafted from high-quality undyed linen sourced from a reputable Kyoto textile wholesaler, and bleached ramie. It drapes beautifully with a supple feel, characteristic of linen, yet remains incredibly light and soft, conforming gently to the body without any stiffness or bulk. While designed with a simple two-color plaid, the interplay of light across the different weaves creates a sense of depth, revealing up to eight distinct hues. The ends are adorned with naturally colored Tussah silk, featuring subtle golden threads that delicately accentuate the checkered pattern. Linen naturally possesses small slubs, a characteristic of natural fibers. However, this stole is made from fine-count linen, resulting in minimal fuzziness and a beautiful sheen.
