The concept behind these pieces is to create modern accessories that connect to the future, allowing people to feel close to nature and Japan's enduring traditions, thereby giving new life and possibilities to discarded items. Deep indigo pottery fragments are paired with flower-like gold-colored parts. They sway gently as you move, exuding an elegant charm. The sides of the pottery fragments are also adorned with kintsugi, so the gold accents are visible from the side, enhancing the piece's refined aesthetic. This piece is crafted using a modern, simplified kintsugi technique. Instead of genuine lacquer made from the sap of the lacquer tree, adhesive is used for the bonding.
