MOSKVA cameras were created on the base of Zeiss Ikonta camera with 6x9cm frame size, which was imported to the USSR for production towards reparations after WW2. MOSKVA-4 camera allowed to make 6x9cm and 6x6cm images. Focusing done by rangefinder connected with moving of the front lens. The viewfinder is optical, collapsible. Very interesting thing, that a lot of Soviet shooters preferred to use early type of MOSKVA-4 than latest, and than MOSKVA-5 camera. They had very strong opinion, that Industar-23 lens was better than Industar-24, and collapsible viewfinder was more convenient and correct. The 5-th model was last in the series of cameras "MOSKVA".
