Over time and with exposure to air and the environment, its luster may diminish, and the metal may darken. This is a normal oxidation process. ・ If your brass oxidizes and turns black, here are a few methods to restore its shine: - Gently wipe with a silver polishing cloth to restore luster. The cloth turning black is normal; do not wash it, as this will diminish its effectiveness. - Lightly brush with a toothbrush dipped in a small amount of dish soap or toothpaste, then dry thoroughly. - Wipe with a clean cloth and a small amount of brass polish to restore the brass luster. Afterwards, rinse with a mild detergent to remove any residual polish and prevent allergic reactions during wear. ・ Preserved flower jewelry is made from fresh flowers and can last over 5 years. Please avoid humid environments. ・ When not wearing, store in a hard case to prevent crushing.
