Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1983, with a background in craft design. He once wandered the streets of Japan, experiencing how wooden art infused warmth and depth into ancient alleyways. These objects, like fragments of time, bearing traces of history and the contours of the future, seek a delicate balance between contrast and harmony, transforming into refined works that closely connect the vision of the new generation with the simplicity of the old era. Agarwood, once ground into powder for its scent, was in Japan solemnly placed in the most prominent areas of the home, symbolizing vitality and light.
The agarwood originates from its production site, pure and flawless, untouched by artificial processes like boiling glue, drawing lines, or adding fragrances. It is presented in its most natural state. Through ancient scent-extraction techniques, the outer layer of deadwood is meticulously peeled by hand, revealing the true soul of the agarwood. This not only imbues it with eternal vitality but also allows tradition and modern craftsmanship to subtly intertwine in the hands, creating a feast for both the eyes and the nose. Its rich fragrance is like solidified time, gently drawing together past memories and future aspirations, allowing them to meet and resonate within the aroma, continuously extending, far-reaching, and profound.
