Product Description

BARDUR Ceramics Studio | Gift Box Collection Launch Capturing the essence of time with the warmth of handmade craftsmanship. Each tea bowl is independently fired by artisans, with textures like stardust falling – no two are exactly alike. The design, featuring a soft satin lining and a square gift box, adds an elegant touch to the ceramic's texture. During the gifting season, choose a present filled with warmth, letting the feel of the piece become part of your heartfelt message. 🫖 The BARDUR Gift Box Collection is now officially available. About Wood Firing 'Wood firing' is a traditional kiln method, reaching temperatures above 1200°C using firewood. It leaves "fire marks" from the direct contact with the flames and natural ash deposits from the burning wood, resulting in warm, rich, and varied colors that electric or gas kilns cannot achieve. Compared to standard electric and gas kilns, the entire wood-firing process—from loading the kiln, ignition, sealing, to cooling—takes approximately 8-10 days. Furthermore, the intense kiln pressure, along with factors like humidity, wood dryness, human intervention in stoking, and kiln placement, can significantly impact the success or failure of a piece, leading to a higher breakage rate. Experienced wood-firing artists meticulously consider kiln airflow, the placement of pieces of varying sizes, the estimated path of the flames, the stoking of wood and charcoal, and the precise control of heat. Every step requires utmost focus to present a perfect wood-fired piece. Place of Origin: Hualien, Taiwan Notes 1. All pieces are handcrafted; textures and colors may vary. Computer screen displays may also differ. 2. Surface irregularities, micro-bubbles, variations in glaze thickness, and crackled textures are normal characteristics of handmade items and not defects. 3. Each piece is stamped with the Mingya Kiln seal or hand-carved by the artist (Mr. Cai Rongzong, Ms. Zhong Xuanhui). 4. Before first use, please wash with a sponge, mild detergent, and water. Do not heat directly over an open flame, and avoid extreme temperature changes. Microwave, oven, and electric cooker safe. 5. All items are photographed in kind. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via private message, and we will respond as soon as possible!! 6.
