- Brand Story - Blind by JW was founded in 2012 by two designers, Jessica Lau and Walter Kong. Blind by JW uses blinds as a concept, with fine hand-painted illustrations depicting the magic scene outside the window, bringing a fresh breath to the complex real world. As a local women's clothing brand, it integrates the lifestyle of both East and West, combines patterns, color blocks and various fabrics with exquisite hand-painted and digital printing to bring a touch of romance and cultural inspiration to the city. Every spring, summer and fall/winter collection, Blind by JW creates unique prints to tell fairy tales. - Season series theme: New born is blind- Mysterious creatures awaken from the deep green ocean and for the first time try to explore the sparkling surface of water, thus breaking into a colorful fairyland. The design embeds this fantastic journey into a short skirt, coupled with skillful hand-painting techniques, to create a graceful look of waist and bottom skirt. Use different aqua blue gradients, then use white and light blue as highlights, and apply to rose powder, lavender violet, and lemon yellow. Skirts are precisely made and carefully pressed into shape. Each piece is a combination of exquisite hand-painted art and the unique cut of the brand. Blind by JW 2015 aims to show the characteristics of their hand-painted prints when mixed with different textures. For example, Japanese woven silk flowers, silky soft celestial cotton and sports double mesh fabrics all create a stage-like light movement.
